Eddie Wall Ride Invitational Coverage
Monday, May 9, 2011 at 09:53PM Last Friday Mammoth Mountain, and Eddie Wall hosted the second annual Eddie Wall Ride Invitational. The sky was blue, the sun shone (is that how you say it?), the riders brought heat, and we gave away an iPad for best trick. Check out some of the action below.
The man of the hour. Eddie Wall himself
Riders meeting.
The Dark Lord Parker Duke was there
The fence feature saw a lot of action. (Right: Forest Bailey, Left: Peter Line)
The peanut gallery
Dylan Alito making sure the top of the wall ride is secure.
Jeremy Cloutier (known to the judges as "Homie, we don't know him" until they were corrected) back-lipping the a-frame
Forest Bailey sending a smooth press across the tube
Aside from being a judge, Eddie Wall also made sure the features were ridable

The prize table
Two generations of Edward Wall right here. Ed Wall Sr. won himself some tall cans in the "Over 60" division.
WinnersIt was a great event and a good day to say the least, especially for Scott Vine, who took home with the win, Johnny Lazz, who placed second, Tonton Holland (he won the european Eddie Wall Ride Invitational the previous weekend) who managed to take third despite some heavy jetlag, and Cody Boan and Dylan Alito who performed two of the most spectacular moves of the day, making them both one iPad wealthier. A big thank you to everyone who came out to ride and to watch.
