We took a warm up lap at Bear for the season during Hot Dawgz and Handrails. Oddly enough, not the only time of season at Bear when getting hit by a car on the trail is a possibility...

If you find yourself in Idaho (or wherever else for that matter) on the 1st of October, and wondering what to do, steer your caboose right into a chair BSU special events center for the premiere of Mystery Distict's new film "Ghostland" featuring Bond ams A.J. Ogden and Martin Cambell, and some other rad dudes too. Below are the two teasers for the film to get you started.

This weekend was Bear Mountain's 8th Annual Hot Dawgs and Handrails event. As usual, they went all out with the setup (it looked better than most resorts mid season parks) and got about 3000 people up there for the event. Parker was lapping the setup (including the requisite inadvertent end of run pond skim) all day and throwing down methods to back lips overt the closeout rail, front boards through the kink, and other assorted tomfoolery.

In the end it was Ryan Paul that took the 10k prize for the day. Parker headed back to Utah last night to make it back to Salt Lake in time for a class he couldn't miss. So..drive to California with some bros, enter a contest, hang with some bros, and drive back to SLC. One hell of a three day weekend.

That's what's going on at Bear Mountain on Saturday. The first taste of snow. A heavy showdown of rail trickey to kick the season off. Snowboarder Mag has the line-up, which includes Parker Duke, who asked us to make it very clear that he no longer sports that haircut (ladies, take note). If you're in the general vicinity, cruise on by, have a hot dog, and watch some boardin'.
